Case of the Eagles documentary

This historical documentary depicts the interesting background of the Ashland University campus Eagle statues. A series of interviews, featuring Dr. Donald Rinehart and Dr. Duncan Jamieson, and some long forgotten photos frame the story.

I was the Executive Producer and Director of the documentary and some of my JDM students co-produced and edited it. The documentary aired on AUTV 20 in 2015 and 2016. It will be a segment in the new long form documentary program Story Vault. Story Vault will make its debut on AUTV 20 in Fall 2016.

Miller Hall Documentary

This documentary, produced in 2013, looked at the rich history of the recently demolished Ashland University classroom building. I was one of the executive producers and the faculty advisor for this program. It continues to air on AUTV 20.

Invasion of Lake Erie documentary

Please watch this wonderful documentary that reflects on the challenges faced by Lake Erie. I served as the faculty advisor on this project. Produced and directed by Aaron Lazar, the documentary was the featured centerpiece of AUTV 20's Earth Day telecasts. I was the executive producer of the Earth Day series.

9-11 Remembered

The 9-11 Remembered documentary was the first documentary that I worked on when I was hired by Ashland University's Journalism and Digital Media department. I served as one of the producers and writers of this fantastic program.

The program airs on AUTV 20 each year on September 11th.

Invasion of Lake Erie documentary

This documentary explores the pollution and algae problems in Lake Erie. It was aired on AUTV 20 in April 2016 as a part of the station's coverage of Earth Day events. JDM major Aaron Lazar produced and directed this program and I served as the advisor for the documentary and the executive producer of the Earth Day telecasts.

Alternate Route Documentary Depicts the Changing Roles of Doctor and Patient Healthcare

The documentary Alternate Route: Reimaging healthcare between doctors and their communities is now finished. I produced this documentary film with my friend Dr. Kim Field-Springer from Berry College. Along with JDM Operations Manager John Strada who served as the Director of Photography, we explored the changing relationships between doctors and their patients. The documentary will air on AUTV 20 early in Fall 2016. It will also be telecast on Georgia Public Television and Western Reserve Public Television in Ohio.
